If life was a movie, are you the main character of this story?
Written by Kenzie Quinn Rattray, The Protagonist is a curious story surrounding the idea that people go through life believing they are the main characters of their lives. Neill, our main character is a side character believing he is the protagonist. When he wakes up one day to a narration of someone else's life, he begins to discover what being a protagonist actually means.
Neill
A white male in his mid to late 20s. Overly sensitive and unobservant, he comes across as narcissistic. Neill believes he deserves to be the main character despite contrary evidence.
Sandra
A preferably non-white female, early to mid 30s. Sandra has a no nonsense attitude and little patience, but has a hard time being cruel to people no matter how annoyed she is. She values being alone and not the center of attention.
Narrator (OS)
A male with a deep, booming voice. The narrator has an artistic vision and gets very sour when the story he is trying to tell is insulted. He is emotionally awkward.
